Paper Dog is an international graphics, multimedia and branding agency. We produce online, digital, motion and printed marketing and corporate communications campaigns for clients across the TV production industry, video game technology industry, and also with Third Sector organisations and charities.

We’re a small, close-knit team with offices in London and Hungary and a presence in Nova Scotia, Canada. Our teams work together to deliver outstanding design work and build close working relationships with our clients across the globe.

We’re looking for a talented Senior Designer to join our London team. The role would involve working across our design team and managing our fledgling motion graphics team and includes production in Unreal Engine, as well as wider digital design, design for social media, print design and events.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating a passion for designing the full branding experience, past experience of motion graphics production, great client communication, and an ability to lead and mentor a team with disparate design skills.

In particular we are looking for somebody who:

• Has the ability to translate design ideas and strategy into tangible project deliverables
• Can work with our Directors and alongside our other Senior Designers to drive forward our vision
• Leads by example and can inspire colleagues to deliver outstanding work
• Is happy being client facing, and confident in presenting creative work and taking briefs
• Has proven skills in delivering projects and campaigns that include motion graphics, animation and digital design
• Has proven ability with the Adobe suite in particular After Effects, and Figma
• Has experience using and delivering projects in Unreal Engine
• Has a proven ability to manage people and processes, preferably with experience of Asana
• Has a strong work ethic and a willingness to go the extra mile

The job is based in our Bermondsey Street (London SE1) office. It would primarily be a studio based role as this allows for really valuable time building good relationships with the wider design team and understanding how Paper Dog works. The role could become hybrid once your abilities have been sufficiently demonstrated with clients and the team.

Salary is negotiable, depending on experience and skills.

We’re hoping to hire somebody in early 2025 but there is no time limit on applications - we’re looking for the right person, so we’ll go through each application individually and get in touch with people that we’d like to meet.

To apply, please send your CV and examples of print and digital work by email to jobs@paperdog.com or fill the form below. You will also be required to provide proof of your eligibility to work within the UK.
